Third Grade
Third grade is the year the confidence really shows. Bears get their hands on tools, try whittling, tackle bigger hikes, and take on adventures that ask a little more of them.
They're old enough now to lead parts of a meeting, help the younger dens, and start to see themselves as real Scouts—because they are.
Parents are expected to attend all meetings and participate with their Scout!
Each Scout needs to purchase a blue uniform shirt, blue belt, Pack numerals, and other required patches per the Scout Shop Staff and rank handbook from the Scout Shop
If you are brand new to Scouting, you will also need to purchase your rank neckerchief
With your Scout, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent's Guide
Complete a Medical Form, Parts A and B, for every participating member of your family
