Trent Carnes-
I'm honored to serve as the new Cubmaster for Pack 118. My Scouting journey began as a Tiger Cub and continued all the way to earning the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 453 out of Sulphur Springs, Indiana. Along the way, I had the privilege of working as a counselor at Camp Kikthawenund in Anderson, Indiana and later as an Assistant Scoutmaster for my younger brother’s troop.
Originally from the Midwest, we relocated to Georgia four years ago and have loved becoming part of this vibrant community. My oldest son is currently a Bear Scout, and it's been incredibly rewarding to share the Scouting experience with him. As a family, we enjoy hiking and discovering the beauty of our national parks whenever we can.
I'm truly excited to be part of Pack 118 and to help our Scouts grow, learn, and have fun along the way. I look forward to working with our amazing families and leaders to create memorable adventures and build strong foundations for the future.

I started in Scouting as a Tiger Cub and worked my way up to earning Eagle Scout. Some of my best childhood memories—and many of my closest friendships—came through Scouts. Growing up in Miami, I loved being outdoors, especially offshore fishing, and Scouting gave me even more opportunities for adventure. Today I’m a father of six, with three of my kids right here in this Pack. We’ve got a house full of animals, and I also work for the FAA. Scouting has always been a huge part of my life, and I’m excited to help our Scouts build the same kind of memories and friendships that shaped me.
Travis Mayhew-
Having grown up on a farm in rural Illinois, Travis has spent much of his life both working and playing outdoors. He is passionate about fostering self-confidence, independence, and good character in children and youth and greatly enjoys scouting because it allows him to combine his enthusiasm for developing young people with his love of nature and outdoor activities. Outside of scouting Travis enjoys spending time with his wife Anna and their four children, tinkering in his garage, bowling, fishing, swimming, and shooting pool.

Jennifer has been involved with the pack for 4 years. Her son started as a Tiger and she has volunteered her time with his den each year. She will continue her role as treasurer for the upcoming year 2025/26. She was a Girl Scout for 9 years and has always dreamed of having her own troop where she could share the skills and values she learned as a scout. Now that she has a child in scouts, that dream has come true as it has allowed her to give back to her community. She enjoys seeing the kids interact with each other and learn new skills as they are introduced to new adventures. She loves anything outdoors, camping, hiking, and the beach.

Whitney Young-
I am a mother of two cub scouts. I love horseback riding, gardening, hiking, most creatures (no spiders!), and most things outdoors. My family is entering our third year in scouting, and I am beginning my third year as a den leader. I am excited to be moving up to lead this year's Wolf Den! Scouting has had a positive impact on my family, and I want to ensure each family in my Den has a positive experience as we collaborate to enrich the lives of our children.

Jerel Scott-
Growing up in Warner Robins, GA I completed Cub Scouts with Pack 220. I stayed in Boy Scouts to the rank of Life with Troop 550. I enjoy teaching children skills that I have picked up over my life as a mechanic and my current professional career in the transportation industry. I also volunteer with Fayette County Youth Softball Association. Hobbies include woodworking, mechanic work on Cub Cadet tractors and classic cars, fishing, collecting and shooting firearms, and spending time with my family.
